At Hambridge we take the impact our work has on the surrounding streets, boroughs and areas very seriously

community

… which is why we contribute to local community and charitable initiatives. We register all our sites with the Considerate Contractors scheme, meaning we subscribe to a voluntary code of conduct that promotes best practice among builders. We are also proud to contribute to local charities, this year for Ellenor which provide support to families facing terminal illness.

Local Contributions

We have contributed over £1,000,000 to local boroughs of Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark and Bromley in the form of CIL (Community Infrasctucture Levies) and S106 payments. These help fund a range of local services, such as public spaces and parks, schools, public buildings and environmental services.

Considerate Contractors

We register every site with this scheme: a voluntary code that promotes best practice and ensures that builders maintain standards in environmental protection; respect for the local community; appearance; valuing their workforce and safety.

Charity

We recently held our Charity Go Karting event at Buckmore Park and we were proud to raise £5370.00 for Ellenor, a fantastic local charity that provides help and support for families facing terminal illness. Last year we raised money for “Wear it Pink” for Breakthrough Now on all our sites and in the office.
